I’ve been taking some time to slow down this holiday season & get recharged before 2019 hits - it’s been nice, but I feel like a slacker for not working! anyone else feel like the moment they stop working means you have abandoned your business?? 🤷🏼‍♀️ either way, I am eager to get back in the groove! the new year will consist of many amazing brides, wedding suites, branding clients & the two year anniversary of Iris & Marie! 👏🏻👏🏻 hard to believe, but I am so excited to see what’s to come & experience the year with some really cool people!

next step: set some goals! ✨

it’s Saturday, almost Christmas & feeling like a good day on the horizon, so I guess why not go ahead & show off the Iris & Marie 2018 Christmas card?? 🤷🏼‍♀️🎅🏼🎄 .

the card was a labor of love & curated to show off the more unique work Iris & I can produce. this year’s card was all about Iris & explains how Christmas was for her back in the 1920’s. 🥰 I’ll show & talk more about the anatomy of the Christmas suite as we get closer to the big day! 🎄

there’s lot of production happening over here at Iris & Marie! luckily, I have a wonderful friend that is helping me paint & assemble invitation suites for my brides! 💕 never thought I would get busy enough to need a second set of hands, but I’m super happy she’s excited to be a part of my creative process! .

while a lot of people are taking off time for 🎄 Christmas, I’ll still be working on lots of things! I’ll post behind the scenes in my stories so that you can see my creative process, too! 👍🏻

I’m in Greenville to talk with my accountant & currently trying to take advice from this mural in Nashville - IT’S GONNA BE OK! 👍🏻 I just don’t enjoy looking at the numbers, but it has to be done! 😅
what I do enjoy is being able to spend time with my Mom, who has become my financial lady & I am beyond grateful! 🙏🏻 it’s nice to get out of the office, explore a tiny town with her & get some creative inspiration.
I hope that y’all take some time for yourselves & gather inspiration - you need a break from reality! ✨

I absolutely loved working with Abbey & her mom to create the most perfect floral blue-teal invitations! 3 colors, hand painted invitations & colored envelopes - you’re pulling at my heart strings!! 💕
