Let’s get to know our musical guest for the 3rd installment of The Alchemy of Art taking place June 27th 4-8pm at the One Columbia headquarters
1st Slide: 843 Symphony
Proudly accepting the label of “Not your Average Orchestra,” the 843 Symphony is a collective of young and emerging musicians based out of the P*e Dee region. Known for blending elegance with raw urban energy, their shows are not one you will want to miss! Their individual artistry has developed into a movement that is driven by community, culture, and a commitment to inspiring the next generation of musicians. With a polished sound and a purpose-driven mission, 843 Symphony is redefining what it means to lead both on and off the stage.
2nd Slide: JB SamSon🦋
JB SamSon is a singer, rapper and producer from Columbia, South Carolina.
He writes, produces, and performs radio-ready songs from his home studio.
JB is a laid back yet quick-witted brother, traits you could easily pick up from conversations with him. But projects like Thoughts in Between and Overt Thoughts, Pt. 1 reveal he’s a faith-based family man with a gracious heart.
Drawing inspiration from many genres, his sound is an eclectic mix of hip hop, pop, soul and alternative soundscapes.
Along with the performances there will also be a local brands fashion show curated by Chris Scott Chris Scott that you don’t wanna miss!
Chef Hector Sanchez will be bringing out the best pizza in the city so come get your grub on 😋
There will also be local vendors and entertainment for all ages and the best part is that it’s pay what you can via eventbrite or at door
