It’s been quite a few busy weeks, let us share our recent trip out to the Pacific Northwest before the next conference that’s happening this coming week!
We took advantage of being on that side of the continent to visit the one of our clients in-person before heading to the Smartsheet conference in Seattle. Flying into Portland’s newly remodeled, still shiny and absolutely stunning terminal really blew me away! I was spinning around in circles trying to take it all in… what a zen space! (A TSA agent actually stopped and asked me if I was okay, and I replied, “I am just in awe of all this glorious space!”😊)
Making our way up to Seattle, we took the Amtrak Coastline train to attend the Smartsheet conference. The Smartsheet conference was quite impressive, and sessions were informative. One of the better structured conferences as it was well-paced with ample breaks; they give you so much information, it’s a lot to take in. Having more than 10 mins to digest between sessions makes such a big difference! Also, the new wing at the Seattle convention center is delightful! The last night of the conference was such a fun one: pickle ball courts, pop-a-shot, ping pong tables, etc… they really know their users’ type!
Smartsheet is such a powerful tool and has so much potential, hearing user cases and what’s to come for the software was really helpful. I left so inspired and excited about what I could do with the application! In addition to the obvious task management capability, it can help keep training consistent across teams, showcase your data in visually appealing ways, and the automation and collaboration possibilities are endless! (If you’re wondering: no, we are not getting a commission from Smartsheet; these are genuine thoughts of the system) 😊 After attending the conference, we have already been able to put one of the sessions’ topic in to practice… that’s a win!!
We are grateful to our clients and their projects as they allow us these opportunities to experience different tools, learn and find ways to help solve day-to-day challenges! (Quattrocchi Kwok Architects
Bonus visit: got to see the wonderful Gail Kinner and catch up on this trip too! We are so fortunate to be surrounded by so many greats!
