🏡 From our home… to yours. 🤎

These little signs started as 2x4s removed from our own home during a remodel. Instead of tossing the wood, we gave it a second life — cutting, painting and distressing each piece into something new.

And these are just a few! We have so many more sayings and designs not pictured. ✨

Hello, Autumn. 🍂🤎

This one started with an old piece of pallet wood just waiting for a new purpose. Its unique shape and natural imperfections gave the piece a character all its own — so instead of trying to make it perfect, I designed around what was already there.

The tree, lettering and dozens of tiny fall leaves were individually created, hand-painted and rustic-finished, then layered onto the reclaimed wood to bring it all together.

No perfectly square edges needed around here. 😉 Sometimes it’s the imperfections that give a piece its charm.

And this one truly is ONE-OF-A-KIND. 🍂
I’d love to say I’ll make another one…but holy cow, this piece took me forever! 😂 So for now, when this one is gone, it’s gone.

No piece gets left behind at ShuCo. ♻️🤎

These handcrafted wooden gnomes started with wood from the center of an old wooden electrical wire spool — the boards that once connected the two large round ends.

Rather than letting that perfectly good wood go to waste, it was cut, shaped, painted and given a completely new personality. Add some fuzzy beards and a few fun embellishments and… gnomes! 😂

Around here, even the scraps get a chance at becoming something beautiful.

A little fall tree… ShuCo style. 🍁🤎

Our Fall Twine Cone was handcrafted from the ground up, then dressed for the season with warm fall florals, leaves, greenery, pinecones and all those little details that give it its rustic charm.

It’s one of those pieces that starts with a simple idea and slowly comes to life as I add, rearrange, change my mind, add something else… 😂 until it finally feels finished.

Perfect for a shelf, entryway or anywhere that needs a little touch of fall. 🍂

Meet the Fall Gnomes! 🍂🤎

Each ShuCo gnome is handcrafted one at a time, with its own combination of cozy fabrics, florals, greenery, pinecones, acorns and little details that give it its own personality.

I love hunting for the perfect embellishments — sometimes I’ll even stumble across a great little find while thrift shopping — then bring everything together until that gnome feels just right. 🥰

No assembly line here. Just a whole lot of creativity, hot glue, fuzzy beards…and apparently a growing gnome family. 😂

Two sets of pumpkins. Two completely different looks. Two stories worth telling. 🎃🤎

One set was handcrafted from old wood recovered from a 120 year old barn on my parent’s farm homestead — weathered wood with a history all its own.

The other was made from 2x4s salvaged when we tore down a wall in our own home. I saved that lumber knowing it could become something someday…and apparently that something was pumpkins! 😂🎃

And those stems? Real tree branches! 🌿 Because sometimes the best craft supplies come straight from nature. 😊

Different wood. Different styles. Same idea — taking something that could have been discarded and giving it a whole new purpose.

Old pallets ➜ rustic works of art. 🤎

Every one of these pallet signs started with wood from an old pallet that was headed for the discard pile.

And let me tell you — tearing apart old pallets filled with rusty nails is WORK! 😂 But underneath all of that are beautifully imperfect boards with knots, nail holes, weathering and character that you just can’t recreate with brand-new lumber.

A little cleanup, creativity and a whole lot of elbow grease later… those discarded pallets became rustic works of art. ✨

That’s what ShuCo is all about. 🤎

From an old pallet ➜ to a one-of-a-kind shelf. 🤎

This piece started as an old wooden pallet that was headed for the discard pile. But where someone else might see scrap wood, I saw potential. ✨

With a little imagination, a lot of work, and some carefully burned wood detailing, that old pallet was transformed into a rustic shelf full of character and charm.

♻️ Rescued. Reimagined. Handcrafted.

Sometimes the best pieces start with something that was almost forgotten. 🤎
