From Pablo Picasso creating a light drawing on the fly to Margaret Bourke-White's gritty photo of tattooed industrial worker, the "Looking at LIFE" exhibit at Staley-Wise Gallery NY, NY is a collection of amazing pics from LIFE magazine - a publication 1/3 of the entire country subscribed to at one time!

Unlike other publications, LIFE devoted more space to pure photography capturing the zeitgeist of the moment.
