It’s now December which, for our family, means it’s time to support with our annual fundraiser ❤️💚
Family Mentor Foundation provides “Buddy Boxes” on Fridays during the school year to children in our community that may not have much food at home.
Each Buddy Box is filled with an assortment of kid-friendly, nutritious, individually-sized foods that are easy for a child to open and consume.
This year, we have decided to focus specifically on applesauce. Partly because my kids LOVE applesauce, partially because I have a great applesauce client (shout out to ) but mostly because it’s so versatile and we know most kids enjoy it. 🍎🍏
It’s devastating to think about a child spending their weekend at home with a hungry stomach.
Please consider supporting this organization to set them up for a strong finish to the 2024-25 school year.
We have set up an Amazon Wish List to make it super easy to order. If you want to shop with your kids locally, you can drop off on our front porch. Or you can also donate directly to the organization.
Just $185 sponsors an entire year of Buddy Boxes for one child.
I do not work for Family Mentor Foundation but I believe in their mission, I’ve packed boxes alongside them, and I’ve met every person on staff. I can tell you these are people with the biggest hearts making an incredible and direct difference in our community.
