Thank you to everyone who joined us for the Grain Law Roundtable in McComb!

The event provided an opportunity for grain industry professionals to hear directly from the Ohio Department of Agriculture’s Grain Inspection Service staff, review key aspects of Ohio Grain Law, and engage in valuable discussion on topics impacting grain operations across the state.

We appreciate ODA staff for sharing their expertise and taking the time to answer questions from attendees. Thank you as well to everyone who participated and contributed to the conversation.

Events like these help ensure Ohio's grain industry stays informed, connected and prepared for the future.

Melinda's Monthly CEO Memo:

I am often asked what it’s like to advocate on behalf of Ohio’s agribusiness industry.

My answer is simple: it’s having conversations about the important work OABA members do every day to support Ohio farmers and keep our food and agricultural supply chain moving.

Earlier this month, I had the opportunity to meet with Ohio’s Senators during the National Grain and Feed Association Fly-In to discuss issues critical to our industry, including passage of a new Farm Bill and reauthorization of the U.S. Grain Standards Act.

These conversations matter, and your voice matters too. I encourage each of you to reach out to Ohio’s U.S. Senators and share why these priorities are important to your business, your customers, and the future of agriculture.

Advocacy starts with a conversation.
