Just a short ride to shake the dust off, and get a bike ready for riding season. My legs were like jelly after the first mile; I'm really out of shape. Haven't ridden in 10 months.

Went for a horse-drawn carriage ride with my wife last weekend. Beautiful day, but very cold!

I had an idea for a dice game. Kind of a combination of Connect 4 and dice placement. Decided I needed board to hold the dice, with divots, so I modeled this up in about 30 minutes. I'll probably print it in the next day or two and try it out.

Somewhere in the past, I expressed interest in some "gamify your health" app. I'm not going to name it, but there are a lot of similar systems out there. IIRC, I didn't follow through, and didn't think anything of it.
Then, they started emailing me, telling me the "Alpha Access was starting" and showing how much progress they have made. But, I had already decided I wasn't interested, so I tried unsubscribing. But, there is no unsubscribe link in the email. I tried unsubscribing through Gmail, but that just marked the emails as spam, and they were still coming. Not often; maybe once every few weeks, but it annoyed me that I couldn't unsubscribe.
Finally, I got annoyed enough to try contacting them through their web site. And, there is no contact form or email address. The only way to contact them is through Discord. I hesitated joining their Discord for a few days, but finally joined and planned to leave once I got removed from their list.
But, once I joined their Discord, I had no permission to post in ANY channel, including the channel. Well, that's annoying. I actually had to create an account on their web site, which then gave me permission to post in the Discord. I basically posted in one of the "faction" channels that I was not interested, and wanted removed from their list. And, why didn't their emails have a way to unsubscribe?
I finally got someone's attention today, and they promised me I would be removed from their email list. I've already left their Discord. And, I filed a CAN-SPAM complaint against them. It shouldn't be this hard to get removed from a mailing list.

Another good playtest of Nemo's Island

At Sunday’s Central Ohio Game Designer’s (COGD) meetup, we had 8 designers attend. By mutual agreement, we split into 2 groups of 4, and I got Escape from Nemo’s Island to the table.
