🎨 Master Your Merch: What Makes Print-Ready Artwork?
Want to make sure your custom merch turns out with ultra-crisp, long-lasting lines?
Understanding how print files work makes all the difference! Here is a quick guide to what works (and what doesn't) for custom printing:
🚫 What We DON'T Accept for Direct Printing:
• SCREENSHOTS: Blurry captures lose all necessary detail.
•LOW-RES CLIPART: Anything below high resolution will pixelate and print poorly.
• AI ART: AI generations are not print-ready art.
• WATERCOLOR ART: Great for looks, but a "no" for traditional screen printing (though perfect for DTF!).
• INTRICATE, HIGHLY COMPLEX DETAILS: Tiny, micro-details are a "NO" for screen printing, but work great for DTF.
✅ What We Need:
• HIGH-RESOLUTION ORIGINAL FILES: Sourced straight from your original artist (at least 1,500 DPI/pixels).
• COLOR SEPARATION: For screen printing, multi-color designs must be properly color-separated.
✨ Need Help With Your Design?
Don't have a print-ready file? No problem!
Our in-house artist can create custom artwork for you for a small fee.
Even better? Once created, it is stored in our library permanently for easy future use, giving you access to the art in any image format whenever you need it.
