It was Hub City League Football Media Day at Compton High School. The inaugural event celebrated the partnership forged between the Compton Unified School District and Long Beach Unified School District.

Member schools include Cabrillo High School, Centennial High School, Compton High School, Compton Early College High School, and Dominguez High School.

Rams donate $10K to Compton Dominguez High's football team

On the first day of training camp at Loyola Marymount University, Los Angeles Rams quarterback and reigning NFL MVP Matthew Stafford presented a $10,000 equipment grant to Compton Dominguez High School tackle football team.

The donation will meet some of the school’s essential needs for uniforms and practice jerseys as well as equipment such as blocking sleds, player protective equipment, practice gear, camera systems for film and more.

Quarterback Matthew Stafford and wide receiver Davante Adams show off the two uniform alternates the will be wearing this season. Stafford, the NFL's 2025 regular season MVP, sports the Classic Sol uniform the Rams will wear. Adams dons the Fearsome White outfit. The uniforms were introduced to season ticketholders during the Rams Revealed Live event at the YouTube Theater in Inglewood, California.

19-year-old Meah Bordenave-Jenkins did everything right before her young life was cut down by a gunman's bullet. She was a Girl Scout. She was in her church's Bible club. She was a musician.
