Last week we were proud to sponsor our favorite Cabarrus Chamber event of the year, the Jingle and Mingle! We love being able to take a break from our very busy work season to enjoy each other's company, Music Bingo, and other holiday games while visiting with other small businesses. Thank you to the Jingle Crew (aka Barbi, Jess and Alison) for a great event, amazing food by Great Wolf Lodge and another superb balloon display by Did Someone Say Balloons. Wishing everyone a very Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays, and a Blessed New Year!

Earlier this month Avalin celebrated her 8 year anniversary with Perry Productions!! While she would rather be behind the scenes promoting her clients, we wanted to give her center stage for everyone to congratulate her on a job well done year after year!

Where Are They Now? Denise Moreno
“After a 2017 health scare, enjoying my young adult children, spending time with my parents, traveling, and a very difficult 2020, I have found a new inner peace with this new chapter of my life’s journey. Peace and happiness. ☮️ & 😃 And just as I was emerging into a new chapter, “…they pulled me back in.” [Godfather 3 reference].
That’s right I’m back; the “vintage” or “flagship” employee of Perry Productions.
Working with the Perry’s has had a huge impact in my post “stay at home mom” role. Being in advertising and marketing before I became a mom in 1999 was a completely different arena than when I decided to return to the field in 2015.
In a bit of luck, the Perry’s were looking to hire their very first official PerryPro employee, and there I was. They hired me as a marketing associate in the new digital world. The opportunity was priceless. Perry Productions restored my confidence in both my career and in myself. For that, I would drop almost anything to return, yet again, to Perry Productions.”

Where Are They Now? Lindsey Trapp
"Since working with Perry Productions, I have expanded my photography business, Lindsey Trapp Photography and instagram.com/lindseytphoto, and taken on many creative projects. I now live on Long Island and bounce back and forth between the Carolinas and New York.
During my time at Perry Productions, I learned how to professionally communicate at a young age, which I feel set me apart from other creatives. I learned the importance of personal branding and gearing services towards specific audiences. What began as an internship in high school, turned into my part time job in college and left me with lots of amazing connections, skills, and friendships!"

Where Are They Now? Kayla Chadwick-Schultz
"Leaving Perry Productions was one of the hardest professional decisions I have ever had to make, because being a part of their team is like being a part of their family. We came into each other's lives at the perfect time. They helped me regain confidence and hone my digital marketing skills after having spent the previous year working in a toxic environment. I helped get them through the unexpected COVID-19 pandemic by focusing attention on Lisa Perry Social and pivoting Walk Cabarrus to a more online presence. I loved those projects, and I will always feel a special connection to them. Truthfully, every client I was able to serve as a PerryPro will have a place in my heart, because it is associated with such a wonderful time in my life surrounded by truly wonderful people.
Surely everyone reading this can speak to its truth, but to know the PerryPros is to love the PerryPros. Lisa, Brian, Avalin, and Abby were the single greatest bosses and colleagues I have ever had the pleasure of working alongside. We leaned on each other during one of the hardest years any small business could dream of facing, and we did more than just survive... We thrived.
Ultimately, my passion for storytelling and education led me on a path toward Public History. I took two years away from marketing to receive my Master's from UNC Charlotte, but I never stopped putting all of those digital skills to use. I quickly learned that I was much further along than the rest of my cohort thanks to all that I had learned at Perry Productions. Now, I'm searching for a permanent position in Charlotte that will allow me to combine all my skills and passions into one wonderful new adventure.
On a personal note, since leaving Perry Productions, I married the love of my life and enjoyed a magical honeymoon in Germany during Christmas. Today, we happily own a home in Charlotte, where she works as a humanitarian immigration attorney at a nonprofit legal clinic and education center. I am continually proud to be called her wife, and I am most looking forward to growing our family in the coming years."

25 years ago, the word “digital” still felt like something out of the Space Age. Today, you can’t successfully run a business without it. You need a great website, a social media presence, an email marketing strategy, and so on and so forth. In other words, a LOT has changed in those 25 years, and Perry Productions has remained on the cutting edge of all of it.
How? It’s simple, really. We just did what all great digital marketing agencies should—we evolved.
In the beginning, there were two: Lisa and Brian Perry. They founded, managed, and operated Perry Productions out of their home for 20 years. Brian still remembers the days when “copy and paste” literally meant cutting out pieces of paper and pasting them together to form a brochure. While those days are (thankfully) behind us, they laid the foundation for what Perry Productions is today, a team dedicated to your success.
We went from specializing in print marketing to being Authorized Local Experts for Constant Contact, providing clients in-depth quarterly reports of their social media metrics, offering online social media workshops through Lisa Perry Social, and so much more. Introducing these new services to our repertoire was never about being flashy or trendy. That’s not who we are. In fact, we’ve been referred to as “the meat & potatoes” on more than one occasion. Instead, these new services grew out of our clients’ communication needs.
It was a natural evolution. As businesses went from needing a brochure to needing a website, we went from offering static content to interactive digital content. We watched it all happen in real time, and we made the necessary moves to stay more than just relevant; we’ve stayed at the top of our game. How else would we have won the Cabarrus Regional Chamber of Commerce’s Small Business of the Year in 2016?
As the marketing industry grew and changed over the years, so did our team. We added specialists, capitalizing on each individual’s strength, and expanded our services accordingly. If you need a logo designed, we have someone. If you need a blog written, we have someone. If you need a video produced or a website developed or anything else you can possibly think of, we have someone to do just that and to do it well. Because at the end of the day, our goal is to meet your needs.
Despite all of the changes and growth and evolution, that key component to what we do has always remained the same. We are here for you. We stay on top of the most efficient and effective marketing strategies so that you don’t have to. We go to your meetings, we stay connected with phones calls, we go the extra mile even when we’re not asked to, and we do it all to help your business be the best it can be. We are not just an agency. We’re your marketing team.
