👯👩‍💻 We built this company in a guest bedroom with two laptops and a lot of nerve.

We are Sara and Hannah. We were each working full-time jobs during the day and building this in every hour after it. We did that for fourteen months.

No investors. No outside money. No one handing us a client list or a safety net. Just two women who kept going because we had watched too many businesses hand their advertising budget to agencies that did not understand the technology they were supposed to be running.

We are Google certified paid advertising developers. We write code, build the tracking infrastructure that most agencies skip, and run campaigns that are actually measurable. We built Privy Clear because we believed we could do it better.

Our entire livelihood depends on whether we are right about that every single time. When your revenue goes up, ours does too. We do not make money if you do not grow. That is not a tagline. That is just how this works.

If your agency disappeared tomorrow, would you know which campaigns were actually driving your revenue?

Drop your answer below.

We've been building something big. And we don't just mean our egos.

We started Privy Clear the way most businesses probably shouldn't start, which is to say we had no business plan and only invested $50 each. What we did have was Sara's guest bedroom and two Wayfair desks, two laptops, a borderline obsessive need to understand how things work, and the kind of stubbornness that only makes sense in hindsight when it works out.

We worked full-time jobs while building this. We studied code at two in the morning to reverse engineer the logic behind how Google and Meta and AI platforms decide who sees what and when and why, and that difference between knowing the strategy and understanding the program underneath it is the entire reason Privy Clear exists.

And then something happened that still feels a little unreal to say out loud. It worked. Somewhere in the middle of all of it we realized we had stopped building something and started running something, and those are very different feelings.

Today we are launching a brand that finally looks like what we actually are. Not the version of us from the guest bedroom, though we love her dearly. The version of us that shows up in full, oversized suits and talks about first-party data like it is the most important thing in the room, because it totally is.

We are also introducing Cailin, our first team member, a Tennessee Tech student who found us the exact way we would have found us, which is to say she showed up already self-teaching the mechanics, watched hours of YouTube to understand how the programs actually work, and just passed her Meta Certification with flying colors. She shares our insanity and passion for this.

Welcome to the new Privy Clear, privyclear.com ✨👩‍💻

Here’s how we became a quarter-million-dollar agency in under 3 years. Still wild to type. 🥹

2025 was the year we stopped trying to outwork our limits and started building systems that could scale with us. The caveat of working with Privy Clear is also the benefit: it’s founder-led. No handoffs. No junior team. Just us.

We launched in 2023 while both working full-time jobs. Demand showed up fast, and time became the bottleneck. After a year of 80–100 hour weeks, we quit our jobs in mid-2024 and went all-in (terrifying). 2025 proved it was worth it.

This year we supported 19 clients across 7 industries and grew alongside a lot of our original clients.

Our niche isn’t an industry—it’s the stack: tracking + data + creative + landing pages + paid media + reporting. Built to measure what matters, because vanity metrics don’t pay the bills.

Grateful for the clients who trusted two women with a laptop, a weirdly deep love of data, and a commitment to doing it right.

Here’s to 2026! 🩷

Sara & Hannah here. 👋 We’re back from much-needed beach breaks and feeling recharged.

For the first time since co-founding Privy, we actually stepped away—Hannah with her daughter early September, Sara right after. Turns out we’re not multi-week-vacation gals… the laptops still made appearances.

But honestly, that’s the dream. We love this work so much it feels like a hobby, and even while away, new client referrals kept rolling in. It’s surreal to realize this is real life: building Privy, supporting businesses that are the backbone of their communities, and still making space for family and friendship.

It feels like just yesterday we were juggling two full-time jobs to make Privy possible.

Grateful, energized, and ready to hit the ground running Monday.

Sara leaves me unsupervised and suddenly I’m at White Plains dressed as a ref with a mustache explaining business entity types like it’s the Super Bowl. 🏈

Ross Yates (absolute legend + owner of Crossroads Diesel & Auto in Livingston) came in first to talk about being a diesel mechanic and running his own shop. Then I rolled in with my playbook:
• Sole Proprietor = QB running solo
• Partnership = Offensive line sharing the hits
• LLC = Defense protecting the team
• Corporation = Whole franchise, lawyers and all

Kids threw flags, gained 1st downs, lost the ball… it was Econ 101 but make it ✨chaos✨

Moral of the story: kids pay attention when you glue a paper mustache on your face.
Again, huge shout out to the and for allowing us to partner with White Plains!

Feeling so grateful for how things come full circle.

Some of you know that our passion for the community at White Plains Academy runs deep.
Our journey with them started a few years ago at a previous company when Hannah and I discovered their incredible students and staff. And met our new best friend, Mrs. Jones. ❤️

From day one, we knew we wanted to be involved. We spearheaded the initiative to have our then-company "adopt" the school through the Chamber, and we personally poured our hearts into building our personal relationship by organizing volunteer days, mentoring, and sharing lunches with the young women there.

The previous principal, Mr. Matheney, told us the students just needed connection, and we saw it firsthand.

It was work that truly mattered.

When Hannah and I founded Privy Clear, carrying that mission forward on our own terms was non-negotiable.

Now, we have the freedom to make the direct impact we always dreamed of. We're back at WPA every Tuesday, teaching a class of amazing students how to build a business and create their
own websites from scratch. Seeing their creativity and ambition ignite is the ultimate reward.

So excited to see what these future leaders build! We don’t have to words to explain how thankful we are for our clients trust in us. You’ve helped make this possible!

If you’re an entrepreneur and are interested in speaking to the class, message us. We’d love to have you!

We used to build on Wix. Once we became developers, we switched to WordPress for ownership, speed, tracking, and SEO that actually scales.

Here’s why WordPress wins for brands serious about growth:
• Ownership & portability — Wix hosts your site inside its platform; with WordPress you control hosting, code, and data (no platform lock-in).
• Performance — WordPress lets us tune speed (lightweight themes, caching/CDN, Core Web Vitals), which lowers CPAs; Wix is quick to start but harder to optimize deeply.
• Tracking & data — Full GA4 + GTM control (server-side + offline-ready) vs. Wix’s stricter tracking on lower tiers; robust end-to-end measurement is far easier on WordPress.
• SEO & flexibility — Clean URL structure, schema, custom post types/fields, and integrations your funnel needs. In 2025 these technical foundations are non-negotiable.
• Total cost over time — Fewer add-on “app” fees and more control; Wix’s extras add up. WordPress offers 59,000+ plugins (most free), so you pay only for what you actually need.

Have you ever wondered what the digital version of steel fabrication would look like?

Now you know. That’s what we built for East Tennessee Contractors. We launched their new site on WordPress because it’s secure, customizable, and built to last. With tools like Wix and SquareSpace you own your content, but NOT your website. 🫢

We build on WordPress to protect the integrity of our client's data. And because this is Privy Clear, we didn’t just make it look good. We optimized it for search engines so the right people find them, structured every page to convert visitors into leads, and used tools like Google Tag Manager to ensure all conversions send flawlessly.

It’s sturdy. It’s strategic. And it’s ready to work as hard as ETC does. Go see it for yourself:
