☀️ Sunshine Spectacular event recap! ☀️ It was a joy to attend this Camp Sunshine fundraising event after months of creating the event’s branding and working on marketing materials. To say the event was fun and inspiring would be an understatement!

Camp Sunshine is an Atlanta-based nonprofit that enriches the lives of Georgia’s children with cancer and their families through year-round recreational, educational, and support programs. Their staff and supporters are deeply devoted to the organization’s mission, which shined through in every aspect of the evening.

From incredible musical performances to hands-on kids’ games and activities, it was a celebratory and family-friendly evening that was truly nothing short of spectacular. We can’t wait for next year!

✨Step into our office!✨After floating between a home office, coffee shops, and coworking at “the big table” at The Biz Foundry - it’s official! As of this week, Streetlamp Creative has a designated office once again. Find us in Suite G at The Biz Foundry in Cookeville!

Fun fact: that industrious little coffee-drinking Doozer has had a place on my desk since my early 20s when I started working at the Center for Puppetry Arts.

This weekend, Streetlamp Creative turns ✨7!✨ When Emma and I started this business in March 2019, we couldn’t have imagined what the following years would hold.

It’s been a wild journey - from renting our first office right before the pandemic (!!) to endless coffee and stroopwafel-fueled catch-up sessions at Switchyards, to my move to TN, to Emma becoming a mom and eventually saying a heartfelt goodbye to our business, to countless client projects and events, to growing a team of fantastic contractors… and who knows what the future will hold!

The Bureau of Labor Statistics says 20% of new businesses fail in their first year, and 50% fail after 5 years. By the 7 year mark, most have closed up shop. I’m so grateful that Streetlamp Creative is still here and thriving. Every day of entrepreneurship (even the hard ones!) is a gift. Thank you to those of you who’ve believed in our work, hired us, hyped us up, and are still here cheering us on! 💛
