As humans, we are forced to focus on what is relevant in our lives and do not realize the value that comes with being able to program our subconscious minds. This is a brain system known as the RAS; Reticular Activating System. When you keep an excessive focus on something you will eventually achieve it. Your RAS will continuously think about something that is not consciously in your brain and suddenly you will have the answer. That's the glory of giving it simple instruction.
To ensure your focus with the prosperity mindset, you must consider what you want, who you want to become, what you want to contribute, what you need to do to accomplish these things, and what limiting beliefs may be holding you back in life and business. Exercise your imagination in deep thought on how exactly you want your life to look, and how you want to be remembered when you pass. Waiting for everything to be perfect to take action in your life will likely leave you waiting a long, long time. Breaking down the key steps to take in the right direction, even if it’s just one or two at first, is crucial to your success. You must recognize these important aspects, deeply embed them into your prosperity mindset, and practice them in a consistent quiet-time ritual to reach your ultimate goal.
This quiet-time ritual can be an extremely beneficial activity because as humans we can subconsciously manifest our futures based on the thoughts in our heads. Long uses the Consistency-Action/Consistency-Outcome model to demonstrate that the steps forward can be as easy as knowing what you want and recognizing a simple action you can take to begin to get there. Using this model is helpful to decrease overwhelm, as you are simply practicing writing out action-based steps, no matter how big or small, towards your self-improvement.
It's important to understand that efficiently achieving wealth, happiness, and peace of mind involves taking baby steps. Doing the little things in life with brilliance and success depends on consistently taking the correct actions. You must program the life of your dreams in your core. You must be willing to alter yourself fundamentally and create a deep emotional commitment to your quiet-time ritual. The Power of Consistency awaits the elimination of cognitive dissonance.
Take accountability for the decisions you make in your life. When you're faced with a problem, you must come up with good action in response, therefore it's almost impossible to come out with a bad result. Your life is a reflection of your decisions. Knowledge means nothing without implementation because there is no substitute for taking action. You must condition your brain for change, starting with your manifestation quiet-time ritual!
