The Women in Business CCD Leadership Conference was an amazing event! Kudos to Kem Todd and CCD for making it happen and all the committees who worked hard on coordinating this wonderful celebration. I was so happy to see friends and meet other amazing women. I came out of this with great advice, encouragement, and best of all permission to pause and remind myself I can do this. 💜🖤 I made some great contacts and I'm so excited for the future. What a ride! ⭐️

Last night was the kickoff to the Women in Business CCD Leadership Conference. A super exciting day is ahead and last night was a party celebration with cake! I'm hoping I'm lucky to win either of these cool baskets I chose - filled with great products from Coos, Curry, and Douglas County businesses 😀. Saw lots of familiar faces and new. Had great inspiring conversations in just a small amount of time. I also got approached to be involved with a community project here in Coos Bay. I've got tons of ideas so that is motivating! I'm excited for what today will be bring. I'm so glad to be among a great support network of friends and community ♥️

On December 19, we gathered with friends, family, and community partners to celebrate something pretty special — the graduation of our CO.STARTERS Core Fall Cohort.

Over ten weeks, these entrepreneurs showed up week after week to test ideas, talk with real people, challenge assumptions, support one another, and build stronger foundations for their businesses. What started as a cohort quickly became a community — full of collaboration, encouragement, laughter, and a shared commitment to growth.

I work dually, from my own laptop and our home desktop computer with 3 monitors (productive and gaming galore 😄). I love to work at the pc when I can, when hubby is off to work and there is quiet and stillness in the early am. Yesterday, I came home and he says cutely, "come here, I want to show you something I got for the desk". I thought, OK he got a figurine or something from a game or show he likes. I look and he got an adorable mouse pad of these kitties. He never ceases to make me happy or smile. No one but him has ever brought me such immense joy, and it's in the smallest of things and gestures. From sending me photos of animals he meets while out on his job, to spoiling me whenever I muse out loud about doing something. Based on first impressions no one would believe such a thing from a foul mouthed trucker and online gamer as he is 😄. He is my biggest hype man and supporter. Love him with all my heart and being.
