If you had told me years ago that I would be speaking at a leadership conference teaching business development to women leaders, I probably would have laughed.

Like many accountants, I was trained to focus on technical excellence. What I wasn't taught was how to confidently initiate conversations, communicate value, ask for opportunities, and contribute to firm growth.

That's exactly why I'm excited to present **The Confident Closer: Business Development Training for Women Leaders** at the FICPA Women's Leadership Summit on June 15.

My goal is simple: help women leaders realize that business development isn't about becoming a salesperson. It's about becoming a trusted advisor who can recognize opportunities, guide conversations, and create impact.
