✨ THIS IS MY WHY. ✨

Every once in a while, a client walks through my studio doors and reminds me exactly why I do what I do.

This beautiful client came in for her color analysis and shared that she is legally blind. She wanted to know which colors work best for her so she could make getting dressed a little easier and feel confident in the clothes she chooses.

And let me tell you, this woman is determined to be successful in everything she does. She doesn’t let obstacles define her, and she certainly isn’t going to let anything hold her back. ❤️

Now, she knows her colors.

She can build a wardrobe where her pieces harmonize with one another, making it easier to put outfits together and helping simplify the process of getting ready. She has another tool in her toolbox to help her feel confident, capable, and completely herself.

This is so much more than finding pretty colors.

It’s about confidence, independence, simplicity, and feeling like yourself.

Knowing your colors can give you tools that make everyday life just a little bit easier. And getting to be a small part of someone’s journey—to help remove one more barrier and give them confidence—is one of the greatest gifts of what I do.

What started with her own transformative color analysis experience has grown into a passion for helping others experience that same confidence—and she can’t wait for you to experience it, too!

But before you meet her in the studio, let’s get to know Kate a little better! 👇

❤️ I started House of Colour because I absolutely loved my own color analysis experience and I wanted other women to experience that same feeling. It changed the way I dressed and my confidence.

🧡 My favorite part of a color analysis is the confidence, the joy, and the moment they see themselves in a whole new light and realizing how beautiful they truly are.

💛 My go-to lipstick is Tinted Balm, Berry Jam.

💚 If I could wear one color forever, it would be Damson.

💙 My favorite thing to help clients with is helping them understand their body architecture during a style analysis.

💜 Outside of the studio, you’ll find me outside with my family and traveling.

💖 One fashion rule I don’t believe in is, no white after Labor Day.🤍

🖤 Something on my bucket list is taking my family to Europe and showing them my favorite places.
