Officially been in our new place for a month. 💕

Moving is SO much work and I never want to do it again, ha! Been MIA on here getting it setup in all my free time but I’m back and it’s going to be an exciting fall. Can’t wait to get the Work + Play Second St. office space open, announce the vendors for my 9th Annual Holiday Market, and share what else I’ve been up to. 🎉

It’s moving week here at the Schneider Household so I’m going to be MIA! My office is currently dismantled, I’m going to miss this space and view so much. Thankful for the last 4 1/2 years in this sweet home and all of our memories here. 💕

Applications are officially closed for my 9th Annual Holiday Market!

If you submitted an application, you can expect to hear from me by the end of next week (Friday, July 31st).

We received a record number of applications this year, which is incredibly exciting. Thank you to everyone who applied and for your enthusiasm, our committee can’t wait to review them all!

I’m so excited to be back at the Corvallis Museum for the fourth year in a row! 🎉 This year’s market will take place the weekend before Thanksgiving, on November 21st & 22nd, and I can’t wait to fill the museum with incredible local makers, artists, and small businesses.

It’s been way too long since I’ve done one of my “join a board” posts, so here we go 😊

I snapped these photos at Leadership Corvallis’s Class of 2026 Graduation last month, and I just want to say congratulations to everyone who graduated! 🎉 It was such a fantastic cohort. Huge thanks to Dough On The Go- Wood Fired Pizza Co. for the delicious food and Benton Community Foundation for hosting a wonderful celebration.

This year, I joined the Leadership Corvallis Board after being involved with the organization in one way or another for the past decade. It’s an incredible program, and I’m proud to help support people who want to engage with our community on a deeper level. Corvallis has so much happening across every sector, and Leadership Corvallis is an amazing way to learn how it all connects while discovering where your own passions can make the biggest impact.

But that’s just one board.

Benton County alone has more than 500 nonprofits, and many of them are actively looking for board members. Whether you’re passionate about education, the arts, the environment, healthcare, housing, youth, or something else entirely, there’s almost certainly an organization that would love your skills, perspective, and support.

Serving on a board is one of my favorite ways to volunteer. Most boards meet just once a month, making it a meaningful way to give back that can fit around work and family life.

Applications for my 9th Annual Holiday Market are officially open! 🎉

I’m so excited to be back at the Corvallis Museum the weekend before Thanksgiving, November 21st & 22nd, for another festive weekend of shopping small and supporting local makers.

My 3-year anniversary giveaways kick off tomorrow! 🎉
