Exhibit your art in the Memorial Union

The OSU Women’s Center invites you to submit your art work for an art show at the MU Concourse Gallery February 7th to March 6th, 2014. Any OSU affiliate (students, faculty, staff, alumni, community member) may submit their art to this show.

You do NOT need to be an art student or a professional artist to take part in this art show so please consider submitting an art piece or two! Inspire and empower others with your art!

If you are interested in participating, please submit the following to [email protected] by January 30th, 2014:
· Artist name
· Contact information (phone and email)
· Title of Artwork
· Media (oil paint, watercolor, pencil, charcoal, ceramics, fiber art, glass art, metal sculpture, etc.)
· Dimensions

· Image the piece

· Please indicate the price or NFS (if not for sale)


You will receive notice by if your piece was chosen to be part of the show. All pieces must be show-ready and delivered to the Talisman room (1st floor) MU starting 8 am on February 4th. To arrange for an alternative drop off date, please write to [email protected]

A reception will be held in honor of the artists on February 8th, 2014 from 12 to 1:30 pm in the Women’s Center.

Greetings ASA members! We are looking forward to hosting yet another successful Africa Night this year. What animal might we surprise you with this year? What does Prince Abubu have in store for us this time round? If you'd like to have an active role during this event, ask an ASA officer (Mary Sarpong, Mariam Benafel or Brian Gatimu) about meeting times this Winter Break. Please note that you don't have to be African :-)
