A new button.

Prep day. Washed, ironed and cut 10oz linen for 10 pillows. Cut #10 Doek (cotton) canvas (instead of linen) fabric for 4 aprons, and sliced some leather for a couple of belts. It’s nice having the shop back.

Working on a couple of 114w103’s today. I’m going to let a couple of machines go in the very near future. A black or grey 114w103 (buyers choice), my first Cornely B, and potentially a Cornely K. The K works so well I’m reluctant to sell it, but I never use it.

Getting my shop back. No more plastic wrapping. I’ll give you the grand tour over the next few weeks of the machines I have and use.

Was at the Pendleton Mill in Washougal Washington watching them weave this fabric. A month later it was available at the outlet store in Portland--I had to buy a bit.

Should have posted this earlier, but…..The shop has been closed for the past six weeks. Replacing windows, paint, and other upgrades. Hopefully I’ll be back at it in the next week or so.

Was in a thrift store yesterday and stumbled across dress with these beautiful sleeves. The dress was from the 1960’s so the ribbon was possibly sewn on with a Cornely B or LG. Regardless, the color combination and work is beautiful. For reference, this is one of my cornely B machines.

I just finished a red jacket with a very deep purple wool liner. Hopefully I’ll get a better photo.
