Another pretty cool sign job for OPPM Properties, got both signs made, time to go out and install them, and the weather that day, 75 beautiful degrees, 22 degrees cooler than the day I set the posts, made this sign guy pretty happy, definitely a good day.

I posted these pics on my personal Face Book, first, it was too dang Hot that day, but I needed to get it that part of the sign job done, so the customer, OPPM, apartment properties, could see progress, always feels good when you get done at a job site, and especially this one, first the weather being so Hot, and more difficult on a hillside, and the location in Omaha, looking at a distance, at the huge Catholic Church, with a memory 41 years ago, an apartment I rented, just two blocks down from that Church, I had that apartment almost two years, while attending Art school, The Studio Academy, Very cool Memories.

All but one face blew out of this pole sign, got a call, "Can you put these faces in and they will stay in". I said yah I can, actually had to make one new face, so a lot of planning, and figuring, and a lot of work, sign is bigger than it looks, 4 foot x 18 foot...

Really cool sign job, special being in my home town of Woodbine, removing old boards, figuring all the spacing, then making and applying all the names, finally, a big day of installing each board evenly.

Had to remove a sign I installed last summer, here's my new hired help, our grandson Jacob, actually pretty cold that day, I asked him if he wanted to sit in the truck and watch, no Papa, I can do this. aren't grand kids fun. memories.

After 12 more hours removing vinyl that seemed welded on to this face, and then removing all the old glue, another 8 hours, finally got to apply the new blue background with the letters cut out, I made it and applied it in 4 sections, sign was 26 feet long and 23" high, turned out good, but way more work than I had figured, but I got r done.

Started on this job, had to remove all the old blue vinyl background which was relatively easy to remove, 3 to 4 hours, but where the old existing letters from a previous sign was, nearly impossible
