A Better Start for New Websites: 30-Day and 90-Day Post-Launch Reviews

When a new website goes live, the work should not simply stop on launch day.

That is why I now include two post-launch review periods with my Basic Cloud Hosting & Maintenance plan: a 30-Day Post-Launch Technical Review & Corrections and a 90-Day Post-Launch SEO/AEO Review & Corrections.

The first 30 days focus on ensuring the website is working as intended. This may include reviewing items such as contact forms, links, mobile display, navigation, image display, SSL/HTTPS, and other launch-related details.

The 90-day review is focused on early search visibility. After a new website launches, search engines and AI-powered answer tools need time to crawl, index, and understand the site. During this period, I review early SEO/AEO signals, keyword visibility, indexing, page titles, meta descriptions, and related items that may need reasonable corrections relative to the original website build.

These reviews are designed to help new websites get off to a stronger start, while keeping website maintenance practical and affordable. They do not include new pages, new design work, or new content requested after launch, but they do help ensure that a new website is not simply launched and left alone.

I work with a small number of website clients each year and build WordPress websites for small businesses, farms, nonprofits, and local service providers here in Vermont and beyond.
