How did you get your start in project management? By chance! A friend helped me get a job as a project coordinator, and I worked my way up to project management and quickly realized I loved it!

What do you like to do when you’re not working? I like to travel when I can, but realistically, I'm just trying to keep up with my 1-year-old daughter.

What is the best advice you have received? Family always comes first!

Fun fact about yourself? My husband and I lived in 6 different states in a 2-year period while he was a travel nurse (South Carolina, Maine, Texas, Florida, Colorado, Montana).

What do you like most about editorial work? Chaotic world, chaotic field, anything can happen. It’s all in a day’s work.

What’s the best advice you ever received? My first boss, Bob Gallagher, PR Director at the erstwhile St. Agnes Medical Center in South Philly, advised: “Take your job seriously but not yourself.”

What’s your secret talent? I have no musical talent, but I’ve been a radio DJ and know a bit about old-school rock and soul. In fact, I was once a contestant on VH1’s “Rock & Roll Jeopardy!” (hosted by Jeff Probst).
