This is Carter. The photo was taken by the boy's mother at a Walmart in Missouri. According to her account, she had been shopping with her son and briefly lost sight of him. When she turned around, she found Carter on his knees in front of the "Missing Children" board near the entrance, where he had stopped to pray for the kids on the posters.
