“Happy New Year’s” is a common greeting people use to express good wishes, optimism and celebration for the start of a new calendar year. It’s essentially a way of saying:

I hope the coming year brings you happiness, health and success.

I’m acknowledging a fresh start or new chapter.

I’m sharing in the collective moment of reflection and renewal.

Grammatically, you’ll see it written two ways, depending on context:

“Happy New Year” – used as a general greeting for the year ahead.

“Happy New Year’s” – a shortened form of “Happy New Year’s Day” or “Happy New Year’s celebration”, most often used informally around December 31st and January 1st.

In professional or published writing (including magazines, emails and formal messages), “Happy New Year” is typically preferred because it’s cleaner and more precise.

At its core, the phrase is about closing one chapter, welcoming the next and wishing someone well as time turns the page.

So with that said: “Happy New Year 2026” to All.

What does Christmas mean?

Christmas is about celebrating love, hope, and togetherness. It marks the birth of Jesus Christ and serves as a reminder of compassion, generosity, and faith.

Beyond the traditions and festivities, Christmas is a time to slow down, reflect, and be grateful—spending meaningful moments with family and friends, sharing kindness with others, and carrying the spirit of peace and goodwill into the year ahead

"Happy TGIF 48" — only four more Fridays remain for 2025.

As we step into the final stretch of the year, consider this the official start of the last five-week countdown. With Old Man Winter almost here, the ski-themed clip felt appropriate to kick things off.

Hope everyone enjoyed your Thanksgiving celebration and spent meaningful time with family and friends yesterday.

"Happy Thanksgiving 2025" from all of us at CCR Magazine.
Thanksgiving in the USA is meant to bring family and friends together over a big meal to express gratitude and thanks. Historically, the holiday commemorates the unity of the Pilgrims and the Native Americans, who gathered together in 1621 for a feast symbolizing peace and goodwill between their cultures.

Enjoy spending time with family & friends. "Cheers"!
