Scooter's Coffee has some new menu items and Akron's Scooter's Coffee invited me to give them a try!
There is a Little Debbie collab that we have to talk about. Cosmic Brownie lattes, cold brews and blended drinks are the highlight of this menu for me. The rich chocolate flavor and those chocolatey pieces on top make for a delicious treat. We tried the iced latte and the blended coffee and they were both outstanding.
Also new to the menu are Bombshells. These drinks feature dragon fruit and strawberry flavors and can be combined with the redbull infusions, frozen lemonades and matcha lattes. All of the options come topped with strawberry heart jellies! We tried the redbull infusion one and not only was it the best tasting drink we tried, the jellies were so delicious! They are a little bit harder than your typical boba but we thought they worked perfectly for this drink.
Also new to the Scooters menu is a line of Dirty Sodas. There are 3 options to choose from. Beach Bash, Lime Oasis and Molten Mallow. We opted for the Molten Mallow which is Dr Scoots soda (such a funny name) mixed with marshmallow flavor and sweet cream with marshmallow drizzle over top. I'll be honest, I was not a fan of this. Like.. at all. I'm not the biggest dirty soda fan anyway, but these flavors were just not vibing together.
The last new menu item I tried was the new double chocolate chip muffin. It was warmed up, melty and super delicious. It's not very dense and has a nice airy texture to it. Having it with the Cosmic Brownie drinks is kind of chocolate overload, so maybe order a different drink if you're getting the muffin.
All in all another fantastic visit to my friends at Scooters. Make sure to check them out and try the new menu!!
