Every once in a while, something comes through the door that reminds us just how interesting this business can be.
At Dahlonega Print & Frame, we love working with artwork, family photos, memorabilia, and projects for our local business customers.
But then something a little different shows up…
How many people can say they’ve framed a dinosaur?
This is a Keichousaurus hui, an aquatic reptile fossil from the Triassic period, approximately 240 million years old.
Definitely not something we get to frame every day!
One of the things I enjoy most about what we do is figuring out the best way to display and protect the unusual pieces people bring us. Sometimes it’s valuable, sometimes sentimental, sometimes historic—and sometimes it’s 240 million years old.
