Today is Women's Entrepreneurship Day! Shout out to our fearless leader Ashley Doyle Parnell, Founder and CEO of The Parnell Group. Here are some fun facts about women-owned businesses:
- In 2021, 49% of new businesses in the US were owned by women
- There are 12.3 million women-owned businesses in the US
- Businesses owned by women earn $1.8 trillion a year

Despite this, we still have a long way to go! Only 26 women are found as CEOs at Fortune 500 companies, which is only 5.2% of the population. (via Forbes)
