During my stint as Creative Director at , I got to work on a bunch of really fun branding assignments, and this one for the Perot Museum of Nature and Science is definitely one I wanted to share.

I LOVE the Perot, so this was a particularly fun one. With the World Cup coming to Dallas, the museum wanted to create a soccer exhibit that explored the science behind all aspects of the game. The brief was to develop a visual toolkit that felt energetic and unmistakably “soccer-y,” while subtly communicating the science and discovery at the heart of the exhibit.

Our team explored several directions before landing on this one, which I had the opportunity to develop. I had a lot of fun creating the logo and all the supporting graphic elements—and then watching the team at the Perot take the system and run with it.

Even though the World Cup is over, the exhibit is still open, so you can keep the soccer fever going a little longer. ⚽️

Late last year, DSVC asked me to collaborate with them to create the campaign for the 57th Dallas Show.

We settled on a concept inspired by DIY punk flyers, photocopied handbills, and the kind of work that feels immediate, imperfect, and unmistakably human. Maaaaaybe a small reaction to a creative landscape increasingly shaped by algorithms and AI. Gross.

Every piece of the campaign was drawn by hand—including the social graphics, animations, and the event poster that attendees took home at the show which was drawn to scale with a micron pen. It took@a few days for my eyes to function properly again. lol

The poster became the centerpiece of the project. Printed on five different paper colors thanks to Clampitt Paper and brought to life by Jarvis Press , it was equal parts keepsake, celebration, and experiment. The press proofs even found a second life as stage décor and environmental graphics throughout the venue.

Drawing everything by hand was a lot of work, but there’s something deeply satisfying about following an idea all the way through and leaving fingerprints on every piece of it.

Grateful to the DSVC for the trust, and to the Dallas design community for continuing to make this city such an inspiring place to create.
