This was our second year building a campaign for Restaurant Week, and it's always so fulfilling (wink, wink) to see the work come to life.

Our president, John Kiker said it best.

“This year, Juneteenth falls squarely in the middle of the week. Because of the oddity of having a day off that bridges the two ends of the week, it’s a bit serendipitous that we can pause our day-to-day and reflect on the significance of what’s being observed.

On the surface, Juneteenth represents an important milestone in our history - one of emancipation. Digging further, the long struggle (led by Texas’ own Opal Lee) to have Juneteenth recognized as a federal holiday parallels the reality that our march towards a shared sense of true dignity and equality as a country has been a long one filled with struggle, setbacks, accomplishment, and the recognition that we still have a long road to get where we should all want to go.

I hope we all have the chance to take some time - a few moments, hours, or even the better part of the day, to reflect and ask ourselves what we as individuals can do to be part of the solution.”

We always love a reason to put our party pants on — and what a party THIS was! The American Marketing Association Dallas-Fort Worth Chapter’s 2024 Marketer of the Year Awards Gala was hosted last week — and our team is thrilled to announce a prestigious win for our work on one of the country’s premier college football bowl games: the Goodyear Cotton Bowl Classic.

Medium Giant took home a beautiful piece of hardware for Campaign of the Year via a unanimous vote from the judging panel — the first time this award has ever been decided unanimously. Additionally, we are the only agency to have not one, but two, of the top five campaigns in the Campaign of the Year category (our second nod was for our collaborative work with The Dallas Morning News for the Texas Rangers Baseball Club’s World Series win).

Thank you to the AMAs — and big high-fives to ALL of the evening’s finalists and winners!

A few weeks ago, our president, , threw out the first pitch at a game. We showed up to support him on the mound — and he delivered. It was a good reminder of how lucky we are to work in an industry where we get this kind of opportunity to support our agency team and leaders — both on and off the field ⚾️

Last week, our Tulsans participated in KERN & BURN, a fast-paced design competition ignited by the Art Directors Club of Tulsa .

Designers, copywriters, misfits and creatives of all types banded together to crank out their best work under the tightest deadlines fighting their way through three fiery rounds of audience banter and fierce judgment, using only the design assets provided to them. It was a weird night, but we are proud of you all!

For over 50 years, TACA has worked to establish North Texas’ arts and cultural community as one of the strongest in the nation. Their Pop-Up Grants reward exciting artistic work that fuels a local culture of creativity and innovation.

We cannot be more thrilled for senior art director Guinn Powell, who is the recipient of the TACA Pop-Up Grant for a recent art exhibit at Bishop Arts Theatre celebrating Black History Month.
