Your captions and content here on Instagram and over on TikTok can absolutely help you rank and get referenced in AI chat models and overviews.

One of the best examples that I saw recently was from when their only official information out there for their Revo football was on their social media. It was cited by Gemini and other models.

Paying attention to your social media and treating product and feature posts as miniature press releases where you focus on keywords and a CTA are important in this ever-evolving discovery landscape.

Don't think about videos as the cost of a piece of creative. Think about it as the cost per meaningful placement/marketing channel.

Having a strong video component is no longer a choice for your media mix. For some, it'll be nearly the entire media mix. Videos should never be single use and you should never anticipate posting it just one time.

Frequency of channels and consistency of message is a goal that you can accomplish when you make an investment in a content infrastructure. That's not to say that it's a good idea to just pump money into video production and hope for the best.

Make sure to build out your content pillars across all marketing messages. See where those pillars would benefit from a video component and start building stories, not promotions, around those pillars.

Invest in your content and invest in making sure that the people producing that content are of the quality necessary for success.

It's only getting harder to get direct bookings for hotels in today's world. While it's tempting to use AI to scale things up without blowing out your budget, it can also lead you down a dark path where you sacrifice specificity for simplicity.

Instead, your use of AI needs to be targeted to CREATE specificity and free up time to fine-tune media planning and budgets to make sure that you're using your 10,000 hours of expertise that AI can't replace in the right way.

We'll be talking about it more but be weary of using out-of-the-box software and only moderately customized systems to help you scale. It'll help you do more but...maybe not the right more.

It's officially been 3 years since Rebecca joined the Phrasing team. She's been such an integral part of our success as an agency and continues to push our creative and community management work to higher levels.

If you've ever had the pleasure of working alongside Rebecca, you'd know how much fun she brings to every project. Her enthusiasm is infectious and she's always eager to experiment and learn more.

Considered a friend by everyone on the team, we're lucky to have had her for these years and are looking forward to many more.

It's not too late but, if you didn't run your BFCM sales starting in October, you missed out on some of your opportunities. If you run an eCommcerce storefront, there is still time to get those purchases but, we've seen mid-October through November to have been record-breaking periods this year when there have been consistent sales by our clients.

We DID notice that flash sales, whether it be on an accepted sales event day or not, did show the highest spikes in purchases and revenue.

If you're still in the game, make sure to focus on the deliverability of your products by Christmas along with a powerful offer. Good luck out there!
