Proud to see TrizCom PR Founder and President Jo Trizila contribute her crisis communications expertise to Yahoo Sports’ examination of the fallout surrounding Good Good Golf.

The story is a powerful reminder that when a brand gets it wrong, the response matters. Accountability, speed and a clear plan for what happens next can make the difference between a controversy that fades and a reputational problem that grows.

AI search ROI is messy.
A tracked prompt can trend down while conversions, branded search, call volume and AI referral traffic trend up.
So what are we really measuring?
TrizCom PR’s Jo Trizila takes a closer look at why AI monitoring needs more than one metric and why attribution remains one of the biggest challenges in AI search.

Last week, a CFO killed a software deal that had already been approved.

Not because the product was wrong. Because nobody on the finance side could independently verify what an AI chatbot had told the buying team weeks earlier.

That's not a rare story anymore. New 2026 research found 49% of B2B buyers have had a CFO veto an already-approved purchase in the past year, right after AI tools accelerated that same deal onto the shortlist in the first place.

AI search visibility got the company in the room. A thin, inconsistent public record got it thrown back out.

Most leadership teams still treat this as a marketing problem. It isn't. It's a revenue problem, and it belongs on the executive dashboard next to pipeline and retention.

In our latest post, we break down:

→ Why the source shaping B2B shortlists just flipped, twice, in three months
→ The three things AI visibility actually measures (hint: it's not a ranking)
→ The C.L.E.A.R. framework: a five-part self-audit CEOs, CMOs and founders can run this week, no agency required

Open ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude or Perplexity right now and ask what your company does. If the answer makes you wince, this one's for you.

AI search visibility now shapes B2B shortlists and CFO approvals. Learn the C.L.E.A.R. framework CEOs and CMOs use to audit and fix their AI presence.

Another TrizCom PR client in the news.

Kathy Lintz, founder of Matter Family Office, was featured in the Financial Times discussing how family offices are entering a new era for women as governance, succession and next-generation engagement reshape the industry.

Kathy’s insight is a strong reminder that leadership in family wealth is no longer just about investments. It is about voice, preparation, education, communication and helping families think across generations.

Congratulations to Kathy and the Matter Family Office team on this well-deserved feature. What a great way to celebrate TrizCom PR’s 18th Anniversary!

As TrizCom PR approaches its 18th anniversary, I’ve been thinking a lot about what business ownership has really taught me.

The truth? It is hard, humbling, exhausting and deeply meaningful.

I started TrizCom with a vision, a strong work ethic and probably more optimism than business sense. Eighteen years later, I know this for sure: owning a business is about more than building a company. It is about supporting real people, real families, real clients, real communities and real dreams.

I shared the top 8 things I’ve learned in 18 years of building TrizCom PR.

Keep on keeping on.

What 18 years of building TrizCom PR taught me about leadership, resilience, people, purpose and the real cost of chasing a dream.

For the past 65 weeks, every Tuesday, Jo Trizila has published an article focused on PR and communications.

This week’s piece takes on a lazy old assumption: that press releases are obsolete.

They’re not.

In a world shaped by AI search, press releases can play a bigger role in visibility, credibility, and discoverability than many brands realize.

Jo breaks down why that matters and what communicators should be paying attention to right now.

Read this week’s article here: https://open.substack.com/pub/jotrizila/p/ai-search-gave-press-releases-a-new?utm_campaign=post-expanded-share&utm_medium=web

Press releases are no longer just written for reporters. In the AI era, they help shape the public record that large language models find, read and repeat.

A crisis message can be sincere and still miss the mark.

Jo Trizila's latest article looks at the Air Canada CEO backlash and the bigger PR lesson behind it: when leaders forget the audience, communication problems get loud fast. In high-stakes moments, people do not judge intent. They judge impact.

Journalists have changed. Has PR?

In her latest Substack, TrizCom PR Founder and CEO Jo Trizila breaks down a hard truth. The media landscape has evolved rapidly but much of PR is still operating the same way it did years ago.

Today’s journalists are navigating shrinking newsrooms, rising misinformation, and constant digital demands. Yet too many pitches still miss the mark.

If PR is going to stay relevant, it has to adapt by understanding what journalists actually need, respecting their time, and delivering real value.

This is a must-read for communicators, executives, and anyone serious about building meaningful media relationships.
