Does bounce rate rule your SEO strategy? If so, you might need to revisit that, depending on the purpose of your website as it relates to your business goals. 🤔

A common concern we hear from business stakeholders is their bounce rate is too high. In a lot of cases, especially for automotive dealerships on our SPACE website platform, the quantity and quality of organic search traffic is in terrific shape, regardless of the bounce rate. 💡

But when the bounce rate is high, that doesn't mean users aren't interested, and it doesn't mean your SEO value will suffer. For example, if a marketing campaign for a dealership directs users to the Vehicle Details Page of the specific car they're looking for, they may land on that page, complete a lead, and then leave. In this case, they technically bounce, but they converted. ✅

In this scenario, the marketing campaign accomplished its goal and the SEO value of the site was not harmed because of the conversion. A win-win for a comprehensive digital strategy. 🙌
