Katrina Studio Photography Dallas, TX based portrait photographer My name is Katrina, I’m a freelance photographer based in Dallas, Texas.

I was born in Latvia, a small country in the Baltic region of Europe but moved to the US 21 years ago and have been here ever since. I've always been fascinated by art, and have been an avid collector of art and craft books since childhood. I have a degree in graphic design, but I've worked in a variety of areas over the years, including web and print design. I started my career in photography by

taking pictures of my kids. Over time it turned into a more serious hobby and now I can say that photography is now my main focus! I think beauty is shown solely through the details, and anything that has the ability to draw my attention to its details is something that attracts me. It’s my job as a photographer to find these hidden beauties, then unleash them in to something perfect or amazing.
