- Duplicate most keys for both home and auto that work!
- When we sell custom paint colors charts from those BIG stores into our Lancó or Lucite Paint at prices that are lower with out sacrificing quality of paint because neither have expensive advertising built into their prices. An added plus, we record the information for easy reorder by our customers
- We stock plumbing repair parts for the older homes that are in Oak Cliff
- We make or repair window and door screens in both solar or regular screen
McRae's is now a PRINT & Hardware store that offers Graphic Art setup for Printing & Sign Customers. McRae's in 1987 began offering printing business cards to professional clients. McRae's does graphic design and creates signs and banners.
- Our sales staff has over 85 years of product knowledge & experience. Established in 1948 as a ARMY NAVY surplus. Henry McRae trained a became an accomplished Small Appliance, Radio and TV Repair service, a bonded Locksmith and custom picture framing. In 1956 began offering Jones Blair Paint and our own brand of McRae's Paint. Over the years we had taken on several other brands. We sell our customers that eagerly return to repurchase for other projects is our Lucite and Lancó Brands. Associations
The buying power of our association with both Handy Hardware & Orgill Brothers Hardware gives us the combined buying power of over 6,000 stores to allow us to offer competitive prices to the public. McRae's first became a member of ACE Hardware in 1971 until 2005. Even though we are not now an ACE Hardware member, our product offering is essentially the same except for very few products that had the ACE Hardware name. McRae's Paint & Hardware is free of the burden of having mandatory participation in very expensive Major Market advertising by ACE Hardware. Meet the Business Owner: Kenneth M. Kenneth has worked in the same building since 1965. By learning from all those contractor customers on what works and what does not, has the ability to solve repair or maintenance problems for customers. In 1987, the store moved into offering printing and graphic design for customers. Kenneth has designed and sold banner signs as large as 600 sq ft, menu's for restaurants, multiple designs for two sided business cards, vehicle magnets and more. His wife Doris is directly involved with McRae's customers by being in charge of inventory ordering, selection and of course payment.
