Congratulations to Tursun Alkau and MyProMovers on making the Inc 5000 list! 🎉🎉
Back in 2017, I moved to the Washington DC area, eager to kickstart my career. I was incredibly fortunate to meet Tursun, who took a chance on me and gave me my first moving job, managing sales, marketing, and operations at his budding moving company. Back then, Tursun had just a couple of trucks and a big dream, and I was his very first office staff hire. He spent countless hours on the trucks with his crews, doing his own maintenance and working long nights, while I hit the phones and built up his digital presence.
Fast forward to today, and it's truly amazing to see how far we've come. MyProMovers has grown into a powerhouse with over 80 of the finest in the business – from movers to sales staff to operations. They now boast a fleet of over 20 trucks, a warehouse, and hold the title of the #1 rated locally-owned moving company in the DC, Maryland, and Virginia area with over 5,000 5-star reviews combined.
I am beyond proud of Tursun, who has rightfully earned a spot on the Inc 5000 list. It was certainly overdue, as we’ve long been focused on growing the company and dominating our market rather than chasing accolades.
