Founder and Strategist Ayona Anderson, aka "Millennial Marketing Maverick" hails from Dallas, TX and is a graduate of the University of Texas at Arlington with a Bachelor of Science in Communications-Public Relations. Ayona has nearly ten years of experience leading and executing PESO-driven marketing, digital, social and PR strategies with global agencies and corporations. Most recently, she propelled ExxonMobil’s social media presence as the first-ever ExxonMobil social media advisor. Prior to that, she spent four years managing integrated strategies for the U.S. Army with programs like the Steve Harvey Foundation, National Society of Black Engineers, Great Minds in STEM and more. Earning more than 50 million media impressions for clients in top national, regional and local media outlets and blogs, e.g. TODAY show, ESSENCE, Ebony Magazine, The Dallas Morning News, USAtoday.com, Huffington Post, etc., she is truly a digital marketing and PR maverick! Additionally, she will become a Certified Digital Marketing Associate (DMCA) in August 2016. As a first-generation college graduate, Ayona's passion is helping students realize their potential and reach for the stars by first reaching for college. She is a mentor at the Townview School of Business & Management, a member of the Dallas Women's Society's XIX Society, as well as a member of the Social Media Club of Dallas and Digital Dallas. When she's not working, she spends her days hiking, swimming and traveling, being a mom to a 10-year old Yuri, and relaxing with their new addition, Keiko, the hyperactive labrador retriever.
