On December 27, 1989, I took a leap of faith and started my business—back when phones had cords, “working remotely” meant taking a notepad to the kitchen table, and “going viral” meant catching the flu.
35 years later, I’m proud to say I’m still at it—maybe not pulling 12- to 15-hour days anymore (because sanity matters), but definitely not ready to retire and take up shuffleboard either. (Although, full disclosure—I played shuffleboard for the first time three nights ago and loved it!)
If you have been following our journey here on Facebook the last 7 years, I may act like I am retired, but behind the scenic images, my passion for this work is as strong as ever, and I’m incredibly grateful for the friends, family, and—most of all—my amazing team members who are the real heroes. They have made the long hours (and the occasional short ones) worthwhile.
Thank you to everyone who’s been part of this journey. Here’s to more years of great work, collaboration and—most importantly—fun and balance along the way. Enjoy(ing)!
