Seen. Celebrated. And given the room to shine.
KERA Arts captured something at the heart of Think Out, Be Light: this has never been only about putting people with disabilities on a runway.
It is about what can happen when someone is invited to make choices, take up space, try something new and hear a room full of people cheering them on.
More than a decade after the first show, we are still learning what this work can become. The runway remains important. But we are also imagining a deeper experience that creates space throughout the year for confidence, community, personal style and self-expression.
Thank you to Zara Amaechi and KERA for spending time with our models, families and creative partners, and for telling the story with such care.
