Last week in Dallas, I stood onstage at Sell Like a Woman Live and looked out at a room full of women selling, leading, collaborating and creating extraordinary things.
And I kept thinking about something we talked about that day:
Change your normal.
Because whatever you’re surrounded by long enough starts to feel normal.
When you’re in a room with women making bigger offers, bigger offers become normal.
When women around you are creating partnerships and collaborations, you start seeing opportunities you couldn’t see before.
When women beside you are growing their income because they want to make a greater impact, wanting more for your business stops feeling like too much.
And when the women around you are doing the very thing you want to do, the distance between where you are and where you want to be starts to feel a whole lot smaller.
That’s why the rooms you choose matter.
Your current normal created your current business.
If you want something different, sometimes the most powerful thing you can do is put yourself in a room where your next level is already normal.
