Last night 2 friends and myself did a free form crafting session. No pressure or plan just a picture frame for each of us, several boxes of pine cones, and a bunch of various craft supplies from my stash. We just let the creativity flow! Here are our final projects. How would you like to participate in an evening like this?

I am making a conscious effort to do some art everyday. Even if it is just exploring and playing. Not everything needs to be a serious project. I get enough of that in my day to day job, Jestek Custom Graphics doing commercial work. Thinking about combining my artsy side and my commercial side to do projects for folks! NOTE DATE CHANGE! Pinecone projects. Who wants to come and do these and be my test subjects? I have enough processed pinecones to have a class of 6 to 10 participants. $25 (cash dropped off at my place, I can take CC payments by phone if needed) to make one 8" wreath and 2 smaller flowers. I am making pinecones! Ok, I am really just collecting and cleaning them for future projects. The ones on the left have been cleaned, the ones on the right have been cleaned and bleached. Cool! Pinecone projects anyone?
