Hey friends 👋
I came across this survey from the Central Western Maine Workforce Development Board via the Mid-Maine Chamber of Commerce, and thought I would share. DEADLINE IS APRIL 1!
They’re working on their 2026–2031 Workforce Plan, and they’re asking for real input from businesses in Androscoggin, Franklin, Kennebec, Oxford, and Somerset counties. Not just big-picture ideas—but what you’re actually experiencing when it comes to hiring, staffing, and running your business day-to-day.
If you’ve ever thought:
👉 “Why is it so hard to find the right people?”
👉 “The system doesn’t reflect what small businesses actually need…”
👉 “I wish someone would just ask us…”
…this is that ask.
It only takes a few minutes, and it’s a chance to share what’s really happening on the ground in our communities.
Here’s the link if you want to take a look:

I know how busy everyone is—but if you have a minute, I’d really encourage you to fill it out. The more small business voices they hear, the better this plan will reflect real life in our region 🤍
Feel free to share this with others, too.
