The Bible is one big story.
One story, stretching across generations, pointing to a hope we’re still living in today.

The main graphic for ‘Through the Bible’ brings multiple moments together into one landscape: Adam and Eve, Abraham looking at the stars, the Israelites crossing the Red Sea, with Calvary on the mountain beyond.

It shares the same style as the weekly pieces, but this one is meant to stand as the anchor.

Week 8: The Revelation.

Wanted to end the series with something bold and a little wild. Jesus, crowned and cloaked in red, on a white horse. Really fitting way to close out the journey.

Week 7: The Church.

I knew early on this one needed to be Pentecost. The Holy Spirit, the movement, the energy. This piece took a bunch of iterations, but that bird made it worth it.

Week 6: Good News.

This version didn’t end up being the final one used in the series, but I still wanted to share it. I’m way too proud of these stylized figures not to. A little quirky, sure, but in a way I really like.

Week 5: Living in Exile.

Spent a lot of time on those lions, and I think it paid off. Keeping Daniel calm and centered while everything around him felt heavy gave this one the tension I was after.

How do you think the lions turned out?

Week 4: Kings & Kingdoms.

This one was all about weight. The crown, the rubble, the whole mood. I wanted it to feel like the heaviness of a broken kingdom, and I’m really happy with where it landed.

Do you think that feeling comes through?

Week 3: Rescue & Redemption.

I love how the waves came out in this one. The original concept had a door in the middle, but swapping that for Moses made the whole piece feel more powerful and way more personal.

Which version do you think would have worked better?

Week 2: God’s Chosen Family.

This one took some work, especially the stars. Early versions had way more motion, but it started drifting into weird mystical territory, so we pulled it back and landed on something cleaner and stronger.

Week 6 · The Ten Commandments

Mountains, hills, sand, and the tablets. So simple but it just works. I really enjoyed drawing this landscape! This one works better in the wide layout, but overall it’s one of the most straightforward pieces in the series, and one of my favorites.   Would love to know what you think of this one, is it reading as 10 Commandments

Week 5 · Moses on the Mountain Top

I really love the way this sun came out! Still, this one was the hardest, and honestly one of my least favorites to date. But I do love how the mountain feels more like a desert mountain than something from the Rockies.

The core idea was Moses and God meeting, like the mountain and the sun are touching, with the praying hands pointing to the conversations happening there. It feels a little rough around the edges, but I still love it.   I don’t know, what do you think?
