We're so proud of our Fairfield County heritage and to be helping to preserve it!

The official sign is now up for the Fairfield County History Exhibit!
It includes a nod to local historian Charles Goslin and a thank you to the organizations that helped us put the exhibit together.
Come check it out!

The exhibit is included with a tour of the Georgian Museum!
Tours begin at 1pm, 2pm and 3pm Wednesday-Friday.

This week is National Surveyors Week, attached is a nice thank you note from the Governor of Maine, thanking all surveyors in the state for our hard work. While Geopro doesn't have a Maine office (yet!), Chad is licensed there. National Surveyor week is March 17-23, 2024.

Geopro uses LIDAR laser scanning and drone technology to create better, more accurate maps. We performed a topographic survey this week in central Ohio and the technology allowed us to map and identify individual trees and the ground below!

On this day 118 years ago, Wilbur Wright took to the skies above Huffman Prairie and flew for longer than either brother had flown in 1903 and 1904 combined - 39 minutes.

October 5, 1905 and Wilbur's 24-mile flight marked the creation of the world's first practical airplane. Their longest flight at Kill Devil Hills was 59 seconds, but the experimentation and development that took place at this cow pasture outside Dayton, Ohio heralded the Wrights' success. They had done it.
