Five years ago, Miller Highlights wasn't a full time business plan.
I started as a college student with a camera in 2018 trying to figure out what direction life was supposed to go.
It all started when a friend asked me to capture her wedding video. At the time, I had no idea that one opportunity would completely change the trajectory of my life.
After college, I went into the transportation industry and worked a traditional 9-5. When COVID hit, I started asking myself some tough questions.
Was this really what I wanted to do for the rest of my life?
The answer was no.
As weddings grew and more opportunities came my way, I started building Miller Highlights during nights, weekends, and from my kitchen table. There were a lot of late nights, early mornings, and moments where I had no idea if it would actually work.
One of the biggest turning points came when I had the opportunity to capture content for the RISE UP Experience. I remember taking time off from my full-time job just to be there because I knew it was experience I couldn't pass up. Looking back, it was one of the moments that confirmed I was heading in the right direction.
What started as videography eventually became something much bigger.
I wanted to create more than a marketing agency. I wanted businesses to feel like they had a partner. A team that genuinely cared about their success and was invested in their growth.
Today, Miller Highlights has grown from one person with a camera to a team of four. We've gone from filming weddings and local projects to working with local, national, and international clients across a variety of industries.
The creative freedom. The relationships. Watching businesses grow.
That's what keeps me going.
And none of it would have happened without the clients, friends, family, and supporters who believed in this vision before it became what it is today.
