i just got accepted into the Wix marketplace AND hit legend partner status (the highest tier wix has). here’s why it’s not just a shiny badge for my bio:

the marketplace thing means wix vetted me. looked at my work, my client results, my expertise, and said “yep, we’ll actually recommend her.” you can’t just sign up for that, they have to say yes.

legend status is the top tier of their partner program. priority access to new features before anyone else gets them, direct lines to wix’s actual support team, a way bigger toolbox to build with.

translation: your site gets built with more firepower behind it. faster fixes. earlier access to the good new stuff. a designer who’s actually proven she knows this platform, not just watched a few youtube tutorials.

i didn’t get here by half assing it. i got here by building A LOT of sites and refusing to phone any of them in.

anyway. still the same unhinged bestie in your portal messages. just with a fancier badge now 🖤

it’s not that i minded talking to my family every morning.

it’s that by 7am i’d already answered “what’s the weather” “what do i have today” and “did you see the thing i sent” like four times before i even had coffee.

so i built a shortcut instead.

every morning at 6:30am, it automatically checks the weather, pulls everyone’s schedule, and tosses in a random reminder, then texts the whole thing to the family group chat before anyone even has the chance to ask.

walked through exactly how i built it in this video because if you’re the one fielding the same questions on repeat every morning too, you deserve to let a robot handle it instead.

my biggest website hot take: launch now, fix later.

i know. i know. you want it perfect before a single soul sees it. you’re tweaking the font size for the fourth time this week. you’re “almost ready” to launch, which is code for “terrified.”

my own site had a “coming soon” landing page for over a year. a full year, y’all. as a WEB DESIGNERRRRRR.

and you know what happened during that year? i booked multiple clients. off a coming soon page. because it had the basics, who i am, what i do, how to reach me, and that was enough to get people to say yes.

my site still isn’t “perfect.” i’m not obsessed with it. i’m working on it when i actually have time and the energy to sit down and do it. but in the meantime, it’s out there working for me instead of sitting on my hard drive looking pretty for nobody or in my brain being changed every time i change personalities that month.

here’s the thing nobody tells you: people aren’t tracking every change you make. they’re not sitting there with a red pen waiting to catch your typo. they land, get what they need, move on with their day.

perfectionism isn’t protecting you. it’s costing you money. every day you don’t launch is a day you’re not booking, not selling, not making that bag.

obviously, cover your basics. make sure your s**t works, your info is right, your links don’t lead to nowhere. but “basics covered” and “flawless forever” are two very different bars.

build it. launch it. keep adjusting as you go. f**k it.

(and if you notice my nail, no you don’t. hush)
