a few months ago a client told me her website was “fine.”

i love a “fine.” it’s what we say about a lukewarm casserole or the last season of Weeds. it is not what you want to say about the thing that introduces you to every new client.

her practice was already full. she’s growing the team and wants more families to find her, especially parents looking for a therapist for their kid or teen. the old site wasn’t going to help with any of that. it wasn’t bad, it just wasn’t working for her.

so we rebuilt it. warm, easy to follow, and built so the next counselor she hires gets their own page without anyone starting from scratch. ⚡

you’d never let a dream client sit on a call with you in total silence, confused, trying to figure out how to book you. but that’s exactly what a messy website does. every single day. while you’re not even in the room.

the good news? you already know how to sell yourself. you do it on every consult call. you answer the questions before they finish asking, you make them feel like they’re in the right place, and you tell them exactly what happens next. your website just needs to learn how to do that without you.

and no, that doesn’t mean a giant fancy site. it means every page actually pulling its weight so you can stop being the only thing standing between a lead and a booking.

so if you swiped through this thinking “yeah, mine does none of that,” the link in my bio is where we fix it. you know you wanna. ⚡

Pop-ups are digital rudeness. They interrupt goals, break trust, and scream “our marketing matters more than your time.”

Here’s what actually works:
- Inline forms within content (no interruption)
- Scroll-triggered slide-ins at 80%+ (they’re already
engaged)
- Sticky bars that don’t block anything
- Exit-intent only (last resort)

The gentle methods convert 2-3x better anyway. Every $1 in good UX returns $100.

Stop treating visitors like conversion targets. Treat them like humans who came to your site for a reason.

Your best subscribers aren’t the ones you tricked into signing up - they’re the ones who genuinely wanted to hear from you.

Build relationships. Don’t interrupt them.

i just got accepted into the Wix marketplace AND hit legend partner status (the highest tier wix has). here’s why it’s not just a shiny badge for my bio:

the marketplace thing means wix vetted me. looked at my work, my client results, my expertise, and said “yep, we’ll actually recommend her.” you can’t just sign up for that, they have to say yes.

legend status is the top tier of their partner program. priority access to new features before anyone else gets them, direct lines to wix’s actual support team, a way bigger toolbox to build with.

translation: your site gets built with more firepower behind it. faster fixes. earlier access to the good new stuff. a designer who’s actually proven she knows this platform, not just watched a few youtube tutorials.

i didn’t get here by half assing it. i got here by building A LOT of sites and refusing to phone any of them in.

anyway. still the same unhinged bestie in your portal messages. just with a fancier badge now 🖤
