It’s Christmas time, and at Gallery of Tops and the Cline household, that means full star-making mode! Our Koselig Lighted Stars & Snowflakes are hand-crafted right here in Decorah, Iowa, by our owner Mike. Inspired to make one for his wife when Scandi import stores could no longer get the much loved Kron Lume Sandinavian wooden stars, these beautiful works of art quickly became sought out due to their quality craftsmanship and beautifuls details. Common in homes throughout Scandinavia during the Christmas season, hang these wooden stars in your window all winter (or all year!) long to welcome friends, and cozy up your home with Koselig (koosh'-lee), the Norwegian concept akin to coziness. Koselig, however, can't really be captured in a single word: it's a combination of nature, companionship, and a warm, inviting space all working together to enhance our well-being. Defying an effective translation to English, like the Danish hygge (hoo-gah), it symbolizes warmth, tranquility and comfort.

Stars available in 8”, 12” and NEW 16” diameter, snowflakes in 12”. Includes 15w bulb and 8' twisted h**p cord with vintage-look plug.

Poor guy is always working on his bday, but happy for the business and serving the community! Skol to our fearless leader! His daughter Emma made him a birthday crown at the Nordic Dancers booth. It’s a good look, Mike! Happy bday!!
