If you are a medical cannabis patient in Florida you have most likely heard of CanPay, a payment option allowing the use of one’s debit card instead of cash. While the majority of mmj sales remain cash, CanPay is now accepted at 95% of the medical dispensaries in the sunshine state.
Unfortunately, the current federal illegality of cannabis, and without legislation like the SAFE Banking act, for example, banks are reluctant to do business with cannabis businesses.
The platform is now accepted at 95% of the state's medical ma*****na treatment centers.

MUV is putting out some absolutely fantastic cultivars via their top shelf Limited Reserve Flower line.
As you can see from the photos, each cut is uniquely gorgeous and contains distinct medicinal properties.
While a bit pricey, if you haven’t had the opportunity, I highly recommend checking out these fire cultivars: Fresh Powder, M.A.C. 1, Root Beer Cream Cake, and Grape Noir.
If you’ve medicated with any of MUV’s Limited Reserve Flower, what do you think? Do you have a favorite?

As more studies are conducted, medical cannabis patients are gaining invaluable knowledge to help them find the medicines that work best for them. We now consider more than just THC content, as there exists many other cannabinoids with healing properties. Ratio medicines are becoming more and more popular in treating patients suffering from anxiety, particularly CBD:THC ratio meds.
Florida Gulf Coast University along with Releaf App, and CannaMD are spearheading a new study to “further clarify just what ratios of cannabinoids best reduce anxiety symptoms”.
Sometimes it can be fun to look at and dissect cannabis. It is such a unique plant. It’s very resilient, thriving naturally all over the world in variety of climates. As the world has begun to embrace more sensible cannabis policies we have seen a sharp increase in the amount of crossbreeding, leading to the creation of countless new strains. Growers use cannabis phenotypes as a way to distinguish the most valued cultivars considering characteristics such as appearance, potency, density, yields, scent, and other features.
I thought it might be cool to just share some photos of the cannabis your are medicating with right now. Please, no percentages or any solicitations. This is just for fun.

You may have seen the attached memes and infographics on Facebook and other social medial platforms over the past number of days. Supposedly, the Office of Medical Ma*****na Use, the governing body in the state of Florida, commonly known as the OMMU, was going to implement an aggregate limit of 24.5K THC, which could be divided across all routes of administration (not effecting smokable whole flower), with specific limits set for each route via a daily limit. Fortunately, however, it turns out that they are not implementing this rule. At least not yet…
From the get go, this entire situation seemed extremely convoluted and confusing, with very little consensus. After all, nothing official from the state had come out to give merit to this claim. Even on the supposed, yet inactive implementation date, April 5, according to highly respected medical ma*****na physician groups in Florida, the state failed to supply any communication to patients alerting them of such a change. There was no email. There was no mention on the OMMU website. Nothing. Not to mention, the first many heard of this was literally on April 1st, April Fools Day. Many patients even claimed to have contacted the OMMU directly, and were told that the rule will eventually go into effect. Like others, I finally decided to call myself, and was told the complete opposite: that they had no idea of this rule change, nor was it currently being discussed or even up for consideration.
Please note, the physician groups have since rescinded their original posts, acknowledging that this rule is not going into effect. That said, I wouldn’t be surprised if the state eventually tries to impose further limits on medical cannabis consumption, which we will wholeheartedly oppose, I am still not yet sure what to make of all of this. I’m curious to see what you think.

MÜV Dispensary in Florida has been killing it!
With the reintroduction of their Gold line of concentrates plus the addition of two lines of hydrocarbon extracts, Live Resin Badder & Live Resin Sugar, their selection of medicinal cannabis concentrates is becoming more and more respectable. Not to mention, the addition of their top tier Reserve Flower.
Unfortunately, as is commonplace among Florida’s medical ma*****na treatment centers, the quality of all top tier medications is reflected among their price points.

3/4 of Florida voters support legalizing responsible adult use. A question remains, however. Would you rather the state legalize home grow rights or create a recreational market based on horizontal integration?
While I may receive a little flak for my stance, I personally believe that a horizontal market structure will in fact be more beneficial to the cannabis community at large. Please, don’t misconstrue. I wholeheartedly support home grow rights as well. The reason I believe a horizontal marketplace will be more beneficial, however, is based on the fact that most consumers will not take advantage of home grow rights. The majority of consumers will continue to shop at dispensaries for his or her cannabis. Implementing a horizontal market will increase access to a greater variety of cannabis products while simultaneously driving down prices. Additionally, a horizontal market will provide average Floridians with the opportunity currently only afforded to multi-million dollar corporations. Floridians have earned the right to open distinct canna-businesses, whether cultivation facilities, extraction labs, commercial kitchens, testing laboratories, as well as local, community based dispensaries.
About three-fourths of Florida voters support legalizing ma*****na possession for adult use, including strong bipartisan majorities, according to a new poll. The survey released by the University of North Florida on Tuesday didn’t ask about where voters stood on creating a regulated system of cann...

If you are a medical cannabis patient in the state of Florida, you received an email this afternoon from the Office of Medical Ma*****na Use. The email alerts patients to a new rule regarding the quantity of smokable flower he or she can purchase, placing another limit on our already limited 2.5 ounce allotment per 35 day period. The OMMU will now use a 35-day rolling limit to calculate dispensation limits for ma*****na in a form for smoking. This means the amount of ma*****na in a form for smoking a patient may purchase on any given day is calculated as the difference between the amount permitted by the patient’s current order and the patient’s total dispensation history over the past 35 days. The 35-day cycle is not based on the calendar month or certification-issued date.

HB 679, a bipartisan effort that would make several revisions to Florida’s medical ma*****na program was introduced by Democratic state Rep. Andrew Learned and Republican state Rep. Spencer Roach, on the first day of the 2022 session.
The changes could mean everything from allowing patients to get exams to qualify for medical ma*****na through telehealth services rather than office visits, and allowing medical ma*****na cards to last for two years instead of one.
Follow the link below for more details about the proposed legislation.
With Florida’s medical ma*****na program continuing to grow as more patients seek approval for ma*****na cards, some state lawmakers in the 2022 session are pursuing changes to make it easier to access medical ma*****na, raising concerns from some ma*****na activists that physicians could be negat...
