Like many of you, I spent Memorial Day weekend in the car, on a road trip. Not only did I get to spend time with some of my favorite women, but I got to see my best friends for a lovely dinner, and I got to squeeze the necks of my dearest scrapbooking family. We gather together every summer to share memories and get our craft on, but this time was different. We gathered for pizza, pasta and a delicious baby shower. It’s the Age of Aquarius, and I’m 40!!!Well, maybe I just really WANTED it.

Yeah, as I celebrated 40 last week, I was thinking - holy cow - I missed our WFP birthday last month!

I can hardly believe it, but we started this little shop in the front room of my house back in 2021, and here we are 5 years older still providing affordable, high quality printing and binding for families and folks! What a blessing :)

The facts are that in 5 year we’ve:
🧁Fulfilled over 22,000 orders
🧁Printed more than 66,000 files (actually a lot more)
🧁Had 7 total printers; three are running today
🧁Had 9 laminators; two currently are running today
🧁Printed more than 7,00,000 pages

Quick update - Icy conditions are beginning to melt, so we are dropping off packages at the post office today. We’ve been working on orders for all of you, so we are dropping off a BUNCH of packages today. Crossing our fingers that the post office is accepting packages today! Over the last few days, USPS lobby was functioning as a warming center.

ALERT: Winter Storm Flash Sale

It looks like a winter wonderland outside, but looks can be deceiving here in Texas. Currently, we are holding steady with flash lights, books and games on the ready and a fireplace hard at work keeping us all warm and cozy. The kids ventured outside for a bit of play, but it was, "too cold," and they came in screaming with little red noses and fingers.

These North Texans are not equipped with proper snow gear, so we have soggy mittens and tennis shoes. I always say that I'm going to buy snow gear second hand, but then I forget until its too late, lol. Eventually, I will have us all outfitted properly, until then, we will make do.

Big thanks to all our folks working hard to keep our communities functional despite the ice/snow. You know who you are. We hope that everyone stays safe, warm, and dry out there!

But first, you have to see what our home office looked like before, so you can truly appreciate how it looks now.

We fashioned this work space in 2022 from a two car garage. It has come a long way. Some days I miss the simplicity of when we first moved in our printers and equipment. Thanks to all of you, our small business has grown, and our office was able to grow and change with us.

I did hang a curtain covering the closet entry now, and I wish I took a photo of it before making this post. C’est la vie!

Oh well, our workspace is part of our home, and it is always a work in progress. Follow along for more peeks into our home office and an upcoming sale.

I know this week went by in a flash; like I literally cannot believe that tomorrow is Sunday. I AM NOT READY for a new week. We have three weeks until our family winter break, and even though I'm ready for it now, we are going to go ALL IN hard to get caught up on some of our homeschool studies before the New Year!

Christmas is right around the corner, and then it will be 2026, and this year is going to be... better. Better year, better me. That's my motto!
