The battle of Puebla trenches us that it’s not about the size of your army but the fight you have in your heart.
Cinco de Mayo reminds us that we will fight for what is ours and make sure the world knows it.

I felt like an imposter for a really long time. For a really long time I didn’t call myself an artist ❤️
I felt that because I don’t go to art school, I didn’t graduate with a graphic design degree. I didn’t take the typical path. I am def taught, I used art as a way to process my reality while in college and beyond. Art for me started as a tool to take back control of my life and from there it blossomed into a career.
Now I pay my bills with. Crazy to say out loud. I still use it as a form of processing and then get to tell that story to the world.

It is a very scary things to go against why everyone tells you and believe in you. I did it and ive never been happier. You can do hard things. Stay consistent, work hard and keep making art.

Monarch butterflies travel thousands and thousands of miles from Canada to Mexico every year during their migration.
Their dazzling symmetry and kaleidoscope of patterns memorize my soul. Their delicate tenderness alone reminds me of my innate softness and the humanity that we all share as a collective.
Monarchs plant themselves in the forests of Michoacán for the winter. The forests there have been designated world heritage sites and are a biosphere reserve.
This design is dedicated to their beauty.

YAMZ World if the art of Brayan Montes- Terrazas My art is a celebration of color. Color is what makes q***r folks and BIPOC folks so special. My art is the manifestation of my q***r identity, my immigrant identity and my Mexican heritage.
We offer a range of art prints, enamel pins, coloring books, and so so much more!
Our products would make a great addition to your store especially now that we’re preparing for the holidays.

My world went from looking like, deserts and rivers to mountains and snow.
In the year 2000 my parents (like many of the immigrants coming to the US now) came to Colorado in search of a better life and an education for their 2 year old son.
My first ever memory was of falling snow on the Burger King on 26th and sheridan.
Since then I have lived in Denver all my life except for the 4 years I spent in Fort Collins for School.
I know that no matter where I am I will have both places in my heart. ❤️
